Help Sweetwater Organic Community Farm usher in another successful growing season this Saturday during their Planter's Ball and potluck fundraiser. Dine and dance under the stars with Sweetwater's growers and the community.
Take your friends and families and a covered dish, Sweetwater will provide the organic salad harvested fresh from the farm, and Whole Foods Market will bring dessert. Organic beer from Tarpon Springs' St. Somewhere Brewing and organic wine will be available for purchase.
Local musician Rob Irie will be providing the entertainment at 6:30 p.m. Raffle tickets will be available for sale at $1 a pop, prizes including gift certificates from local businesses including Whole Foods, The Columbia Restaurant, Bern’s Steakhouse, Acupuncture & Herbal Remedies, Pizza Fusion, Peg’s Cantina, The Refinery, WMNF and more.
$10 for adults, $5 for kids (cash at the door) – All are welcome; Saturday, October 22, 6-10 p.m. Contact the farm to volunteer or donate to the event.
