Tampa Bay Lightning fans are probably pretty used to watching their team compete in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, but the at-the-game feeling is totally gone now that the competition is happening in a fan-less bubble in Toronto.
Amalie Arena can help out with that. In conjunction with the arena's Cur(ate) food program—and together with Amalie’s food service provider—the team is now giving fans the chance to order gameday eats to go.
An Amalie rep told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that the menu for “Lightning Gameday Eats To Go”should hopefully be available via amaliearena.com Monday afternoon. You can start ordering tomorrow at noon since the Lightning is set to face off against the Columbus Blue Jackets in game one of its playoff run at 3 p.m. EDT on August 11.
The items are available in family packs or a la carte and can be ordered up to three hours before game time and through the first intermission. Orders must be placed online; no cash will be accepted. And sorry season ticket holders, your discount does not apply.
“Curbside pick-up will be available at AMALIE Arena in the 15 Minute Circle. When driving up guests will be directed to the Channelside Drive side of the pull-up and asked to call 813-301-6640 on arrival,” a press release says. Amalie Arena is located at 401 E. Channelside Dr. in downtown Tampa.
All food pickups must also be done before the end of regulation. Now you can get ketchup on your hockey sweater from the comfort of your couch.
Tampa Bay Lightning 2020 Stanley Cup Playoff games will air on TV via Fox Sports Sun; see a schedule below.
