Football season brings with it the return of a beloved pastime: tailgating.
From 3 to 9 p.m. Oct. 3, the Tampa Bay Sports Commission will deliver its second annual Tailgate Taste Fest at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. The downtown Tampa event will offer tailgating favorites — including sliders, barbecue and small-plate items — from places such as Cask, Champions Sports Bar and James Joyce Irish Pub.
Those who buy $20 general admission tickets in advance will recieve five food samples of their choice. Want more? Pay $15 for additional offerings. VIP tickets, on the other hand, let folks chow down on unlimited food and drink.
The festival will also feature entertainment like live music and in-game action, with more information to be announced.
