There's a tempting array of food and drink events planned over the weekend. Don't miss 'em.
• Starting at 3 p.m. Friday, Pair O' Dice Brewing Company unleashes a tap list of Barrel-Aged and Cellar Beer Releases. Variations of the brewery's Pit Boss (triple IPA aged for 10 months in an Elijah Craig bourbon barrel) and Thin White Line (imperial white milk stout aged for nine months in a Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel) are showcased, alongside rare selections like the 2015 Up Hops the Devil (American barleywine-style ale). In between sips, patrons have the opportunity to fill up on St. Petersburg gastrotruck Anju's KFC — that's Korean fried chicken. Free, money for beer and food. 4400 118th Ave. N. #208, Clearwater. 727-755-3423.
• Cheesy delights inspire the dishes featured at Gulf to Bay Food Truck Association's Oozefest III, which also goes down on Friday. The Cheesesteak Truck, Riddle on the Griddle, Craving Donuts, Casablanca Fusion and I Wanna Wok are among the participating food trucks set up at Vinoy Park as early as 6 p.m. Adult beverages, live music and craft vendors complete the family-friendly celebration. Free, money for goodies. 701 Bayshore Drive NE, St. Petersburg.
• On Saturday, local cupcake bakers use their flour power during the Cupcake Festival, hosted during the weekly Ybor City Saturday Market between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Now in its eighth year, the annual throwdown determines the most delicious (and coolest) cupcakes — with help from a panel of judges. Winner takes home the "Best Cupcake in Tampa" title, and spectators can get a taste of the competition by purchasing bites from the battling bakers. The market's bill of entertainment and shopping festivities await, too. Free, money for goodies. Centennial Park, 1800 E. Eighth Ave., Tampa.
• Cueni Brewing Co. wants to celebrate its 2nd Anniversary by partying with the community. The brewery, located on the Pinellas Trail, has anniversary T-shirts for sale, but that's not even the best part of Saturday's bash from noon to midnight. Tappings of special beers — including Mango on Fire (Mango My Tango infused with habaneros) and Barrel of Drunken MONK'Es (Drunken MONK'E aged in Four Roses whiskey barrels) — will take place every couple of hours. Mobile diner Gizzy's supplies the food. Free, money for beer and food. 945 Huntley Ave., Dunedin. 727-266-4102.
• An exclusive dessert from South Tampa bakery Dough rounds out the six-course Brew Bus Brunch with two seatings on Sunday: 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. In addition to the Ultra Violet Cupcake, menu items include beer-brined smoked ham, maple bacon sweet potato hash and cinnamon French toast bread pudding. Brew Bus will also tap its own twist on Dough's cupcake: Ultra Violet Blueberry Pomegranate Sour. Tickets are up online. $35 brunch & unlimited drinks; $25 brunch only. 4101 N. Florida Ave., Tampa. 813-990-7310.
