Fatburger, an integral part of rapper Ice Cube’s 1992 single “Good Day,” will finally debut its Tampa Bay location next month.

It’s been nearly a year since parent company Fat Brands and Whole Factor Inc announced it was bringing Fatburger to the Tampa area, and now the first outpost is slated to debut at 9950 Upper Alafia Ct., in Riverview, on June 19, according to the spokesperson.

The company plans to open a total of four Fatburgers over the next years, with the other three locations yet to be announced.

Initially, these Tampa Bay Fatburger locations were meant to feature a limited menu from its sibling brand, a wing-forward concept called Buffaloโ€™s Express. However, the spokesperson told CL that that this partnership is no longer in the works.

Fatburger is arguably best known for made-to-order, highly-customizable burgers. It also offers up milkshakes, fries, and some decent  vegan options like Impossible burgers, and keto-friendly bunless โ€œskinny burgers.”

The California-based chain first opened in Los Angeles over 70 years ago, and has since expanded to nearly 180 locations all over the world. Tampa Bay’s last Fatburger locations were at Clearwater Mall and the International Mall back in 2003.

Updated to show Tampa’s previous Fatburger locations, as well as new opening date.
