Portillo's has officially launched its second area restaurant at Tampa's University Mall.

The iconic Chicago restaurant concept — whose first Tampa Bay location brought beloved Chi-Town dogs and chocolate cake to Brandon earlier this year — opened its Tampa doors at 2102 E. Fowler Ave. on Tuesday. The fast-casual brand's newest restaurant serves up eats in a '30s Prohibition setting.

Like the others, the Tampa Portillo's dishes charbroiled burgers, Italian beef sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries served with a deliciously golden cup of cheese sauce, specialty salads, smoothies, beer and other comfort food favorites.
