The Lucky Dill and New York Kitchen & Lounge premiered in Tampa several weeks ago. But a formal grand opening for the dual Westshore district venue, across from International Plaza at 4606 W. Boy Scout Blvd., is scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18.
Mayor Bob Buckhorn will attend the celebration’s ceremonial ribbon cutting. Other highlights include passed hors d’oeuvres and complimentary cocktails.
New York Kitchen & Lounge, known as NYKL, offers an upscale selection of shareable plates and craft cocktails. Before the Manhattan-style hangout transitions into a nightlife setting, guests can look forward to happy hour drinks priced between $3 and $5, as well as live music.
Adjacent to NYKL is the second location for Palm Harbor’s Lucky Dill. Featuring a large outdoor patio and decor inspired by the Big Apple, the restaurant specializes in menu items like corned beef and pastrami sandwiches, which are enjoyed during lunch or dinner.
Breakfast is coming soon, too.
The Lucky Dill operates 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. As for NYKL, the place opens at 4 p.m. Monday to Saturday, serving till 3 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.
