Tampa Pizza Company is making its debut in South Tampa next Monday, November 4 at 11 a.m. The joint is taking over the former GUAC location (which lasted less than six months) at 4110 Henderson Blvd. Fingers crossed this concept is more fruitful than its predecessor. Restaurateur Dave Burton has the secret sauce to thrive in Tampa Bay, being that he's behind GenX TavernFlock and StockHoly Hog Barbecue and The Getaway.

The family-friendly pizza joint is offering up a full liquor bar, pies, and dishes including pasta, salad, and various bowls. Wine will be a staple on the menu, and the kitchen will also be catering to those who live the gluten-free and vegetarian/vegan life.

For the first two weeks of business, Tampa Pizza Co. is donating 20% of each check for the first two weeks to nine local nonprofits, including Plant High Basketball, South Tampa YMCA and Tampa Bay Little League.

Can't make it out to the new South Tampa restaurant? It delivers. Now you can ditch your allegiance to chains and shop local when it comes to your pie delivery.
