Amaro Montenegro wants to give Tampeños a taste of “la dolce vita” when its new pop-up bar Bar Monte parks at Tampa Armature Works for seven days in April.

Offering “innovative cocktails and immersive games,” the bar is an open-air experience where guests can simultaneously embrace their inner child and enjoy the perks of adulthood by catching a buzz while playing games like bocce ball, corn hole, and yard dice. So basically, what you already do at home, except in public and in front of gorgeous views of the Hillsborough River and downtown Tampa.

A press release says Amaro Montenegro will partner with a local bar or restaurant for its cocktail lineup, which includes Monte Flight Tastings and mini cocktails named Monte on the Rocks, Monte + Tonic, and the Montenegroni.

National pop-up bar tour kicks off in Tampa from Friday, April 16-Sunday, April 18 at M.Bird, Steelbach, and Stone’s Throw before taking a break and popping back up the following weekend from Thursday, April 22-Sunday, April 25. Hours of operation are 3 p.m.-9 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday.

Bar Monte will follow the safety protocols created by the CDC and local government. There is a mandatory mask policy for guests plus socially-distanced seating and hand sanitizer readily available throughout the pop-up.
