It’s evident from restaurants like Bougie Pizza, Revolve Kitchen, and Frenchy’s To-Go that delivery-only concepts are basically a thing in Tampa Bay. Now Southeast Asian restaurant Bamboozle Restaurants is throwing their hat in the ring with their own take.

“Special Announcement! We have launched a NEW CONCEPT: Bamb Bao,” they wrote on Facebook.

Owner Lynn Pham said in an email to Creative Loafing Tampa she’d go to parties and gravitate towards certain foods like pizza and sandwiches but wanted to create an alternative.

“Bamb Bao allows me to put a Bamboozle spin on different cuisines (like our bao with chicharrones or our lemongrass thai chili wings) and serve it in a way where you can enjoy it with others like at a happy hour, a corporate event, or just having friends over to watch a game,” she said.

Bamb Bao’s menu offers a small number of items including Bao Bun sliders, dumplings, chicken wings, and fried rice. Food items are made inside Bamboozle’s downtown spot at 516 N Tampa St.

“We are still testing the concept so delivery is the only option we provide at the moment,” said Lynn Pham in an email to Creative Loafing Tampa. “However, if the response continues to be as positive as it has been so far, we will look at expanding.”

Guests can order Bamb Bao directly from Uber Eats Monday-Saturday 5 p.m-9 p.m. Can’t wait until then? Bamboozle’s downtown and Channelside locations offer online ordering. Bamboozle Café is open for lunch Monday-Friday 11 a.m.-4:45 p.m. and dinner Monday-Sunday 5 p.m.-10 p.m. Bamboozle Channelside is open Monday-Friday 11 a.m.-9 p.m., Saturday 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sunday 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
