In celebration of National Taco Day, Tampa residents can score some free tacos this Sunday, Oct. 4.

Mexican-grill Chronic Tacos is offering Tampa residents a free taco if they download the Chronic Tacos app and create an account by Oct. 2. You’ll then be sent a voucher for the gratis taco, which is only valid for Sunday.

The taco can then be picked up from the California-based franchise’s Tampa location at 10420 N. Dale Mabry Highway, which opened in the summer of 2017.

Customers will be able to pick from chicken, carnitas, al pastor, and veggie tacos only, the offer excludes fish, shrimp, steak and Beyond Beef Tacos.

More information can be found at chronictacos.com. If you like spending money on your tacos, Bay area Fuzzy's locations are selling theirs for $1.50 on National Taco Day (at Fuzzy's there's a 10-taco max and the offer excludes fajita, shrimp, or Mahi, including California Heat and Citrus Heat Mahi).

UPDATED: 10/01/20 12:45 p.m. Updated to include other restaurants' holiday specials.
