Ulele took to Instagram to announce their new executive chef, Patrick Quakenbush.
The post shared some words from Quakenbush regarding his new position: “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work for a celebrated business that thrives on quality and value, relationships and family.”
Seems like a déjà vu, as we were just celebrating Keith Williamson last May for the executive chef position.
Quakenbush’s professional experience includes opening Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar in Sarasota in 2005, an executive chef role at ZED451 in downtown Chicago and, most recently, a culinary director position for Tavistock Restaurants.
Now working for the Columbia Restaurant group, the post also shared Quakenbush’s excitement for what the future holds, “Ulele is a special restaurant — a destination restaurant in a spectacular setting that has been successful since the day it opened in Tampa Heights in 2014. It’s obviously a place where beautiful memories are made. I look forward to being a part of it and joining the talented team already in place.”
