Grab the kids and hit Giddens Park, located at 5202 N. 12th St., this Saturday to snack on ice cream and hot dogs from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Games, water toys and prizes will be provided to attendees to help cool down from these intense heat temps.

UPDATED 6/6/19 3:12 p.m.: The Seminole Heights Civic Association requested that only neighbors fo the Seminole Heights community slide by for the event, as there are only so many cones to go around.
