Bagpipes will be played, beer will be drunk, and axes will be thrown at Kilted Axe’s grand opening next week.
Located at 6027 Wesley Grove Blvd., Suite 208, in Wesley Chapel, the new axe-slinging spot will celebrate its ribbon cutting on March 7, with local beer samples and 10 professional bagpipers providing Celtic tunes.
After the grand opening, Kilted Axe will be open to the public on Friday and Saturday’s from 5 p.m. to midnight and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. The new indoor axe-throwing spot will feature a bar, serving beer and wine, and is available for private parties.
Though the beer and axe range is the self-proclaimed “first-of-its-kind” in Wesley Chapel, the Tampa Bay Area is no stranger to the sport.
Last year, Bury the Hatchet Axe Throwing opened in Brandon. St. Pete’s Axe & Ale has been around since 2018, and Ybor is home to Civil Axe Throwing.
