Day drinkers and brunch lovers alike celebrate the return of the Tampa Bay Bloody Mary Festival, which takes place April 26 at Tampa Garden Club located at 2629 Bayshore Blvd. in South Tampa.
UPDATE: It's been postponed for the fall. See a full statement below.
Tickets are on sale now, start at $35, and can be purchased at eventbrite.com. Tickets include unlimited blood mary samples and one free drink from the bar, which also serves mimosas and beer. Breakfast and brunch eats will be available for purchase.
Bloodys from applauded Tampa Bay restaurants will be there, and attendees will cast votes to determine which brunch cocktail reigns supreme. Two winners will take home a golden celery trophy for the best bloody mary—one selected by the audience and the other by a panel of judges.
Some restaurants that participated in last year’s Tampa Bay Bloody Mary Festival were Datz, The Lure, Graze 1910 and Brickhouse Tavern + Tap among many more. Ella’s Folk Americana Cafe and First Chance Last Chance took home the golden celery trophies (and bragging rights) in 2019.
In an effort to reduce the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we will be postponing the Tampa Bay Bloody Mary Festival to the Fall. A new date will be announced soon. Please hold onto your tickets! All tickets will be valid for the new rescheduled date.
We appreciate your understanding and wish you the best of health, and look forward to seeing you in the Fall to celebrate the most beloved brunch cocktail in the world, the Bloody Mary!
