Lingr, the first solo restaurant from celebrity chef Jeffrey Jew, is finally open in downtown St.Petersburg.

The new upscale-casual eatery venture, which is located at 400 6th St. S, soft opened this week, and is currently taking walk-ins, with reservations starting Monday, June 14.

We haven’t seen menu, but the Nordic and asian-inspired restaurant has been teasing dishes like dumplings, raw snapper, and sea urchins on the 'gram for the past few months.

As previously reported, Lingr has been in the making for at least a couple years, and the pandemic certainly didn’t help. Jew actually pushed plans back so that his concept could build in new technology and safety measures. The space now features an expanded outdoor patio, UV lights in the HVAC system, HEPA filtration systems in the indoor dining room and kitchen, QR  scan codes for online menu view and/or optional disposable menu, among other things.

Jew was previously the Executive Chef at BellaBrava and Stillwaters Tavern, and he’s also been a contestant on Bravo’s "Top Chef," and actually won his episode of Food Network’s “Guy’s Grocery Games.”

As of now, Lingr is open Sunday-Thursday, 5 p.m.-10 p.m, and Friday-Saturday, 5 p.m.-11 p.m.
