VegFeast returns to St. Petersburg’s Brick Street Farms this weekend

With a variety of lunch options that range from stacked vegan hot dogs to seitan gyros to mushroom-based sushi—you might want to bring a few TUMS with you to this weekend’s VegFeast at Brick Street Farms.

VegFeast IV happens on Saturday, March 12 at 2233 3rd Ave. S in St. Petersburg, and will feature dozens of local vegan vendors who sell different types of hot foods, locally-grown produce, specialty drinks, plants and baked goods.

Some of the small businesses you can expect to see at Brick Street Farms this weekend include Vegan Halal Cart, Nah Dogs, Golden Dinosaurs Deli, Shelter Farm Sanctuary, Seasoned Green, 3 Dot Dash, House of Vegano, Gabby Bakes and Now and Then coffee.

You can also follow the annual feast’s Instagram at @vegfeast_, which aptly describes it as a “100% vegan food festival / market / thing.”

Although you might be able to snag some free parking  throughout downtown St. Pete, there’s also a grassy lot across the street on 22nd Street S that can be used for overflow parking.

And if you miss this weekend’s block party, St. Pete’s beloved hydroponic farm hosts a morning market every first Saturday of the month, as well as other types of events that can be perused  vis @brickstreetfarms on Facebook.

Brick Street also provides a variety of cafes and restaurants throughout St. Petersburg with leafy greens and herbs—supplying local businesses like Freya’s Diner, Naked Farmer, St. Pete’s Black Radish Grocer and Bandit Coffee with fresh, locally-grown produce.
