Starting at 2 p.m. Friday, celebrate Veterans Day at 3 Daughters Brewing. The St. Petersburg brewery has teamed up with USO Central Florida Orlando to raffle off items like signed Tampa Bay Buccaneers gear and a Topgolf package, and the proceeds will go to charity. Make the drive to Hernando for some cheesy fun. From 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, nosh on all things grilled cheese from local food trucks at the Brooksville Grilled Cheese Festival. Adults can unwind with a drink from one of the fest’s full liquor bars as well. Unwind at Dunedin Wines the Blues, hosted between 1 and 11 p.m. Saturday. Wine, beer and food will be featured throughout Main Street downtown, where the 25th annual event takes place. From 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, have fun under the stars with Tampa’s Sweetwater Organic Community Farm. Its 14th Annual Planter’s Ball, which raises funds for the farm, will celebrate the start of another farming season through dining, drinking and dancing. Guests will nosh on a menu of farm-fresh salad, eggplant bake, chili and more. Beverages from Mother Kombucha and Java Planet will be available by donation as well. Learn the art of carving fruits and veggies from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in Ruskin. Students at Fruit & Veggie Carving 101 will transform squash into a bird centerpiece that’s perfect for a Thanksgiving table. Each ticket includes supplies, but bring a box to carry the bird home.
