Who is Tampa Bay's "Top Chef?" On Sunday, November 7th, get the chance to watch a culinary showdown between three talented chefs from the Tampa Bay area and enjoy a four-course lunch during the "Cruising to a Cure" event aboard Holland America's ms Ryndam, all to benefit the Children's Cancer Research Group at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital.
The executive chefs from Café Dufrain, Ciro’s Speakeasy and Timpano Chophouse will each have 15 minutes to prepare and present their signature dish in the ships's state-of-the-art kitchen theater while the guests look on. While everyone is enjoying a four-course wine lunch in the dining room, the judges — Jeff Houck, food writer for The Tampa Tribune; last year's Tampa Bay "Top Chef"; Chef Jason Cline of Bin 27 Bistro, and yours truly — and a lucky guest will taste the dishes and decide who will receive the coveted title.
