At last, Amazon has expanded online grocery delivery from its Whole Foods Market stores to more locales, including Tampa. Prime members who call Tampa home can begin shopping for thousands of everyday staples from Whole Foods — including fresh produce, seafood and baked goods — through Prime Now, Amazon’s same-day delivery service.
Select alcohol products are also valid for delivery in as little as an hour, and orders must be placed between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily.
Launched earlier this year, Prime Now delivery of Whole Foods, the organic supermarket chain Amazon purchased in 2017, is available in 48 cities. The service plans to keep its nationwide growth going throughout 2018.
“Prime Now delivery continues to be a hit with our customers and we’re excited to introduce the service in ten new cities plus more neighborhoods in New York and Seattle,” said Christina Minardi, Executive Vice President of Operations for Whole Foods, in a statement.
