It's nice, but rare, to see that 5 of the Top 10 Most Emailed Stories at NY Times are about food. The best rated of those (#3 right now) is one of the most succinct, down-to-earth explanations of how a novice can start to understand wine. Eric Asimov must be the most populist wine editor the Times has ever had. Wanna know wine? Do this.
