Part of the Tampa-born craft beer tavern chain's revamped loyalty program, ALEgorithm — billed as a community-driven "Pandora for beer lovers" — allows users to build their own recommendations based on the pints they taste and rate with a thumbs up or thumbs down on the WOB mobile app.
"For each beer drinker who downloads the app and rates beers, the ALEgorithm will get smarter and recommendations will become more precise," said Hannah Davis, senior director of brand marketing, in a statement. "Each user will help enhance the ALEgorithm for all members."
The free reworked loyalty program, which replaces the old program that only recognized loyalty members for the one-of-a-kind brews they tried, also offers rewards for every $1 that's spent on any beer, spirit, wine and food item, plus stuff like token boosts, beer trips and beer swap.
Incentives include a 75 token bonus (users earn tokens by making WOB purchases) for new members and $10 off for members who re-register online, through the app or in person.
