Even if you’re not a fan of corporate restaurants, there’s something to be said for the ones out there giving back to the community. Carrabba’s Italian Grill is doing just that — all while celebrating October as National Pasta Month.

The Italian-American chain from Tampa-based Bloomin’ Brands has promised to donate $1 from every sale of its newest dish, Pasta Georgio, to Moffitt Cancer Center now through Dec. 31.

Topped and baked with meatballs and mozzarella, Pasta Georgio consists of penne with sautéed bell peppers and Romano in roasted red pepper sauce. The dish is named for George Minutaglio, the late vice president of operations for Carrabba’s who passed away earlier this year from pancreatic cancer.

“It has long been a tradition of Carrabba’s to name dishes after beloved friends, family members or places, and we’re honored and humbled to carry this tradition on today with the launch of Pasta Georgio,” said Mike Kappitt, president of Carrabba’s, in a statement. “George was an inspiration to many, and we created this new dish not only to recognize him but to also honor all families that are affected by cancer.”
