P.F. Chang’s has launched a Freestyle Lettuce Wrap Contest, which is a three-month crowdsourced competition.
“At P.F. Chang’s, we helped make Lettuce Wraps famous and now we’re putting the newest offering for this signature dish in our guests’ hands,” said Tana Davila, Senior Vice President of Marketing in a recent statement.
Those who are wanting to compete just need to send in a drool-worthy lettuce wrap combination which will be voted on by the public online.
The winner will not only have their creation featured on the P.F. Chang’s menu next year, but it could also become a permanent fixture.
Wait, did we mention a $25,000 grand prize?
First place will be living large by dominating the contest with their dreamt-up wrap.
Second and third place will each be receiving a $5,000 cash prize.
That’s not all; the top three finalists will be flown out to Las Vegas to be paired with a P.F. Chang’s chef to bring their flavor combinations to life and a panel of judges will decide the rankings.
Don’t think your idea is winning material? Shoot for top 10 so you can still receive a $100 P.F. Chang’s gift card.
Make sure to get your lettuce wrap pitch in by Tuesday, July 30 for a chance to compete.
Don’t sweat the minor details, recipes are not required.
Voting will run from August 10–19.
