Though only a trio, indie-alternative band Infinite Eights—a past Best of the Bay Readers’ Pick for Best Experimental Act last year that’s already played 97X’s Next Big Thing— packs in layers and layers of sound thanks to Parker Wilkson, Davin Norman, and Tyler Hanks. The band’s recently released single “Is It Wrong?” almost sounds like the score to an intense 1980s museum movie scene. Are those strings? Nope! Keys. Inverness indie band Trevor Griffin & the Occassionals opens the show where kiddos are allowed with a guardian. (Hooch and Hive, Tampa)
