We asked fans attending Friday’s Springsteen concert to send us pictures and stories about their experiences. Our favorite came from Matthew Hert, who journeyed from South Florida with his teenage daughter to see The Boss in Tampa and enjoyed front row treatment:

“The show last night was amazing with nearly three hours of heart-stopping E Street Nation pandemonium led by a man who clearly does not know he carries an AARP card!

“First, thanks to the lady in red who graciously put me and my beautiful 15-year-old daughter, Brooke, in the immediate front section of the pit. Also, thanks to our crew of E Street Nation fans around us from near (Jacksonville and Boca), and far (Toronto and Italy) for a crazy night of rock ’n’ roll!

“The highlight of my night was my little girl singing ‘Waiting on a Sunny Day’ with Bruce for over 17,000 people (we actually practiced the lines on the drive over from Ft. Lauderdale). As if that wasn’t enough, Bruce personally handed her his harmonica during ‘The Promised Land.’ To quote Brooke directly, ‘Is this real life? … amazing concert!’

“Thank you Bruce! After nearly 20 shows, last night will be a memory that my daughter and I will cherish forever!”
