All the hyphenated pop music (acid, jangle and lo-fi) comes together on Tuesday when Nashville-based twee rock band Twen plays a no-cover St. Petersburg show alongside Tampa’s Hello Joyce (supporting a new album, Brother Speedo). A Rainy Night In opens the show, and fans of innocent, intricate electro-pop should definitely give the band’s new album (Cautious Optimism & Other Pickup Lines, released on September 1) a listen and then head out late/early (the show starts at 10 p.m.) to catch the opening set.
Twen w/Hello Joyce/A Rainy Night In. Tues. Sept. 18, 10 p.m. No cover. The Bends, Twen w/Hello Joyce/A Rainy Night In. St. Petersburg. INFO.
