Punk cabaret duo The Dresden Dolls (see music feature on p. 39) definitely fall into the category of "must be seen live." In concert, the Boston duo invites its roving "brigade" of performance artists onstage and into the aisles to interpret their dramatic songs about love and other assorted madness. Culled from back-to-back London dates in 2006, this DVD finds singer/songwriter/pianist Amanda Palmer and drummer/guitarist Brian Viglione in top form before a highly enthusiastic crowd singing along to fan faves like "Coin Operated Boy" and even numbers from the Dolls' latest album, Yes, Virginia…. The Dresden Dolls perform Jan. 10 at Tampa Theatre, Tampa. 3.5 stars
