Incubus and 311 head to Tampa this summer, which is quite fitting, since hot tank top weather is the ideal setting for their feel good, alternative-rock jams.

The rock bands make their Tampa stop on Aug. 2 at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre, with California-based four piece Badflower opening the show.

Although both bands' most popular singles like 311’s “Amber” and Incubus’ “Drive” or “Wish You Were Here,”  might bring back memories of the early 2000s, both bands are celebrating new advances in 2020. Incubus is on the cusp of releasing its newest EP Trust Fall (Side B), while 311 is celebrating its 30th anniversary as a band this year.

Unsurprisingly, Incubus and 311 toured together in 2000, but missed Tampa on that 26-date run across the U.S.; 20 years later, Tampa Bay rock fans finally have their chance to catch the two bands in action this summer.

Tickets for Incubus and 311’s double-header go on sale this Friday via LiveNation, and if you’re a part of either band’s fan club, then you know pre-sale starts tomorrow, Feb. 5 at 10 a.m.

If you grabbed Livenation’s unlimited concert pass for the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre, add Incubus and 311 to the eclectic list of must-see summer shows, alongside Disturbed, Jason Aldean, Halsey, and Hall and Oates.
