Our favorite, and only, feline musical act Amazing Acro-cats, featuring Tuna and the Rock Cats, are taking time from celebrity life(Netflix, “Colbert”) and coming to Tampa Bay for two weekends of shows on both sides of the bridge.

ICYMI, The Acro-cats are multi-talented cats performing a two-hour show full of tricks before the jam-sesh finale.

It’s been four years since the talented felines were here and now they’re back at Gulfport’s Catherine Hickman Theater with five shows Friday, Oct. 22-Sunday, Oct. 24.

Or you can celebrate “MeowWeen” with two Halloween shows at Ybor City’s Cuban Club on Sunday, Oct. 31.

Like most rock bands, the lineup changes—currently it’s guitarist St. Clawed, drummer Bowie, Nue on keyboard, Ahi on woodblocks, Albacore on cowbell, Roux on trumpet, and Oz on sax. Rounding out percussion is Cluck Norris on tamborine (Cluck is in fact a chicken).

The human ringleader on site is animal trainer and rescuer Samantha Martin, who has found happy homes for over 260 homeless cats and kittens and trains her cats with clickers.

Tickets start at $35, or you can volunteer for various jobs and see the show for free. Volunteers must be fully vaccinated.

The shows are all ages but no dogs are allowed. For more information go to, rockcatrescue.org.
