Shevonne Philidor is bringing her bluesy style of alternative R&B to Shuffle’s revamped backyard stage Saturday night. Philidor shared some of her family struggles with CL last summer, which inspired her song “Someday.” So get ready for a bit of a therapy session, which goes perfect with Shuffle tater tots, right?
If you are a TV junkie, you might recognize Philidor from a little reality series called “American Idol” in which she appeared on Season 15 and Season 17. Though she obviously didn’t get to Kelly Clarkson status, it’s the show’s loss and the local scene’s gain until she does. (Shuffle, Tampa)
