Following a strong ending to 2024 with a compelling NPR Tiny Desk debut, a long-awaited vinyl issue of its debut album, and regaining ownership over its first three albums, Old Crow Medicine Show is pushing its latest, Grammy-nominated album Jubilee.

The band’s eighth record had contributions from Mavis Staples, Molly Tuttle (who’s dating frontman Ketch Secor), and original member Willie Watson, who hadn’t recorded with his old friends in 12 years.

Only a few days after John Prine’s fifth death anniversary, maybe keep your fingers crossed for a story or two about when the Nashville-based roots band and friends toured with the late Gulfport resident when they roll into town for the first time since opening for Hank Williams Jr. at the ol’ Gary amphitheater in 2023.
