Tampa Bay’s very own Anberlin is getting ready to temporarily say goodbye to frontman Stephen Christian, but not before sending him off in style with two gigs at the 106-year-old Ritz Ybor.

Tickets to see Anberlin ‘s two night stand at The Ritz Ybor on Thursday-Friday, Dec. 14-15 go on sale this Friday, and cost $30.

The 43-year oldโ€”a pastor who works for Grace Family Churchโ€™s Clearwater campusโ€”credited a Native American proverb he once heard for inspiring him to spend more time with his community, wife, and children.

In the meantime, the remaining members of the band behind โ€œThe Feel Good Dragโ€ have hired Matty Mullins of Memphis May Fire to take over lead vocal duties on the road, for the time being.

Opening the show will be Dayton-based emo quartet Hawthorne Heights, fresh off of a new EP called Lost Lights.
