Eat your poop, because Angry Zeta has just embarked on its first-ever U.S. tour, and it wraps up in St. Petersburg next month.
The Buenos Aires-based folk-punk septet describes its twangy-and-angry-as-ever latest album Chills and Thrills as “a molasses of punk, Hillbilly, folk, and raw street music.” That’s likely due to its exposure to punk and other genres while busking.
Joining the band will New Orleans busker band Yes Ma’am, as well as local Americana favorite Mark Wagner & The Bad Habits.
And if you’re feeling generous, bring some extra cash with you for banjo player Martin Bobrik, who says he lost his wallet and a substantial amount of cash during a festival overseas in Rotterdam last month.
