Microwave’s charming emo-indie likeness can be represented by the title of its latest LP, Death is a Warm Blanket. This nationwide tour blessing Tampa on Friday is in support of that effort, which the band describes as “sonic catharsis incarnate.”
This emo-strong bill’s undercard features alternative band A Will Away, New York-based act Bad Luck, Northeastern hard-rock outfit Weakened Friends, and emo quartet Haunting Voices.
