If you haven’t seen it yet, I guess I should be the first to tell you that Imagine Music Festival has a jam-packed lineup full of some today's best EDM artists. If you’ve bought a ticket, then you’ve probably waiting anxiously for the schedule to come out, just in case there are any scheduling conflicts that would pull your heartstrings taut between two stages. Well, they are.

USE YOUR IMAGINATION
Griz, RL Grime, Zeds Dead confirmed, and Bassnectar is a maybe, for Atlanta's Imagine Music Festival 2018

Since Thursday is only the Silent Disco, let's start with Friday. You may notice that the schedule goes in reverse chronological order given our current understanding of space and time, but that can be helpful when trying to sift through smaller names to find the big ones playing later at night. If you’re someone who’s a fan of both Joker and Glitch Mob, those sets are staggered such that you can easily catch the first half of Glitch Mob on the Oceania stage and the second half of Joker on the Disco Inferno stage. Only problem there is that once you go over to Disco Inferno for Joker, you’ve already missed the opening of Galantis at Oceania.

For those who stage hop, you’ll be hopping a lot. For those who camp at the same stage all day, know you will miss some incredible acts.

Saturday is Nectar night, and for those of you who don’t know, people will wait at Oceania for the entire day, from sunrise till set time, just to get the chance to ride the rails at Bassnectar’s 12:15 a.m. show. Yes they’ll be treated with Adventure Club and Bear Grillz as appetizers for Nectar, but those fans will also miss Jai Wolf, Levitation Jones, Zhu, and Cashmere Cat, all on the Amazonia stage.

FAST TIMES

Sunday doesn’t go nearly as late into the night with headliners, but the sets do have some crazy overlaps in scheduling. For one, Getter plays Oceania at the same time as Yheti B2B Toadface at Amazonia.

The rest of the evening plays out similarly. Lotus plays at the same time as RL Grime, Shpongle (playing a DJ set) plays at the same time as Zeds Dead and Kaskade is on at the same time as Griz. Luckily the last one is easy, though — Kaskade’s set at Bonnaroo this year was a cascading pile of self-congratulatory shit. Go with Griz.
