
The 53-year-old’s new album Open Channel (named after a shared love of his trucker fatherโs radio and โE.Tโ between him and his siblings) probably isnโt worthy of your typical rave as-is, but mixes funk, dubstep, and house music thatโs neither chill or acidic. It features guest spots from the likes of British emcee TeeZandos and Roll Deepโs Manga Saint Hilare, and while we probably wonโt see any of them at Jannus Live this weekend, the newly Christened Crenshaw returns to Tampa Bay for the first time since a 2022 gig at The Ritz Ybor.
