It’s been (we can hear you singing) five years since Ed Robertson has brought the band he co-founded with the since-departed frontman Steven Page to Tampa.

Since then, the group has released two albums of brand-new material (Tour de Force, In Flight), headlined its annual “Last Summer on Earth” summer tour with fellow ‘90s alt-rockers, and continues evolving its sound, rather than rerecording their bangers without Page. “All I Want” alt-rock outfit Toad the Wet Sprocket opens BNL’s first gig at Coachman Park since a December 1999 gig with Christina Aguilera and Enrique Iglesias.

Tickets to see Barenaked Ladies perform at Clearwater’s The BayCare Sound on Wednesday, Oct. 23 are still available and start at $40.50.
