
The 22-year-old (who rocked a side stage at the festival himself the day before) has long cited the indie-pop outfit as a massive influence on his catchy hooks and vibrant vocals, and as if playing the same festival as it wasnโt enough, now heโs opening for Coin (stylized in all caps) on its current leg of shows promoting a new album Iโm Not Afraid Of Music Anymore.
Bissett will have some newโbut unreleasedโstuff to get off his chest, too, so maybe we are better with him.

Itโs honestly so hard to pick a favorite show, but one that has stuck with me over the past couple years has been the Hippocampus show at the Greek Theater in L.A. The passion the band brought to the stage was infectious, and it truly felt like everyone was connected while watching that show.
