Last month, we solicited suggestions on new Best Of The Bay categories. During stage two — now through the end of the day on Tue., July 21, we are accepting nominations. What do you think is Tampa Bay's Best Local Band? Label? Record Store? Hip-hop Act? Promoter? Venue, large and small? Concert of the past 12 months?
Nominate your faves on this page — music categories are located in the Arts & Entertainment section. You can't make it to stage three — the ballot — if you aren't nominated, nor can your favorites unless you nominate them, so lobby like hell to get nominated, or nominate your faves like hell; we will accept as many nominations as we get in before the end of the day on Tuesday. All nominees in each category will be revealed during stage three (August 6-September 8), at which point you can actually vote on your favorites to win.
