Between The Buried and Me, without guitarist Dustie Waring, plays St. Pete this weekend

Raleigh-based prog metal outfit Between The Buried and Me is leaving rhythm guitarist Dustie Waring behind this time around, following allegations that he raped a drunk fan.

Filling his vacancy on this tour—which sees the band performing nothing but its 2012 The Parallax II: Future Sequence album front to back—is session guitarist Tristan Auman, who also founded instrumental rock trio Sometime In February.

Fellow prog metal groups Thank You Scientist and Rivers Of Nihil open this heavy shindig.
