It’s always special when a band spends its album release weekend in your town, and Tampa Bay is lucky to host Black Lips on Saturday, just one day after the underground rock provocateurs' new album, the appropriately-named Sing In A World That's Falling Apart, arrives all dressed up in the Lips’ signature, psychotic Southern-fried twang and harmony.

Bonus points to promoters (and the Lips’ people) for assembling an A-plus support bill that includes the Iggy Pop-approved Plastic Pinks, wild-out-of-its-mind Orlando punk unit Golden Pelicans and the Tampa debut of Future Bartenderz.

Black Lips w/Plastic Pinks/Golden Pelicans/Future Bartenderz. Sat. Jan. 25, 7 p.m. $16-$18. Crowbar, Ybor City. aestheticized.com
