We’re in an era where digging into the vault and rerecording unused tracks is a fairly common practice for those that came before our time, and Blue Oyster Cult took up the trend last year.

The word on the street is that Ghost Stories—the Long Island band’s latest, odds-and-ends collection—will be the boys’ final studio release, and while there are currently no plans to retire from touring, the quintet played overseas under its original moniker Soft White Underbelly earlier this year.

In short, if the Cult is coming full circle, you might want to consider treading lightly around that Reaper.
