If you get annoyed by the bagpipes and Irish razzmatazz involved with St. Paddy’s, St. Pete’s Mahaffey Theater gives you a chance to you to catch some jazz-rock with Blood, Sweat and Tears instead.

BST is down to one original member, Bobby Colomby, but even with an eight-piece band composed of a new generation of musicians, it still feels like the ’70s when the band is in the room. If you miss this one, the band behind “Spinning Wheel” will be back in Florida come May as part of Epcot’s Garden Rocks Concert Series in Orlando.
