Tampa Bay always sends a strong contingent to Manchester, Tennessee for Bonnaroo, but now the festival is coming to us… sort of.

Today, Bonnaroo organizers announced the dates for their 14-city, 2019 "Ready to Roo" tour. More than 35 pop-up events are part of the journey, and Tampa Bay has scored four of them (see the list below). Other Florida cities that will get visits are Orlando and Jacksonville.

The events give Bonnaroovians a chance to not just meet each other, but purchase tickets at a previous tier price. The Tampa Bay stops — Hooch and Hive, MacDinton’s Tampa, Park & Rec — will also feature games, drink specials and a chance to win tickets to the festival.

There’s even a philanthropic event happening on March 23 when “Ready to Roo” invites festival family to. St. Petersburg’s Clam Bayou Nature Preserve for an invasive species pull and native planting.

"The special thing about Bonnaroo is that our fans have always been as committed to the spirit of the festival as they are to the music," Ashley Capps, co-founder of Bonnaroo, said in a release.

"These unifying activities create a sense of community that transcends their time at the festival, and the service projects in select cities underscore Bonnaroo's focus on social good and 'radiating positivity,' which is part of the Bonnaroovian code."
