A dark, high-contrast live concert photograph of punk singer-songwriter Laura Jane Grace performing on stage. Captured from the waist up, they stand in front of a microphone stand with their wet hair completely obscuring their face. They are wearing a black harness-style top over a white shirt with a blue graphic, and their heavily tattooed arms are illuminated by cool blue stage lighting. Directly behind their head, a brilliant red-orange stage light shines directly into the camera lens, creating a striking halo and starburst effect against the pitch-black background.

Nearly five years after her last show in Ybor City, Laura Jane Grace returned to the historic district to make her debut at Zodiac. The club—now featuring former Bayboro Brewing Co. and Floridian Social talent buyer Shawn Kyle booking acts—is in the parcel formerly occupied by The Rubb, Twilight, Honey Pot and PTL. Last Tuesday, Grace, 45 brought a new band to reconnect with fans after Black Guy Fawkes and Lung opened the show.
