In terms of 1981’s 4 album, only one member of the original Foreigner still plays with the band, albeit on and off.

While we don’t know for sure whether or not Mick Jones will be in the Foreigner lineup in Clearwater on Monday at Ruth Eckerd Hall, current lead singer Kelly Hansen told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay last year that lineup really doesn’t matter to him, adding “This is not some band that’s disassociated with the Foreigner name that decided to go out and play Foreigner songs.”

Whether you agree with him or not, tickets are still available, and like two of the band’s recent Tampa Bay shows, you might just get a guest spot from an original member.
