✔️ Joey Image Benefit Show Round 1 w/Vladimir VanNilsson/Rejected Revolution/Jolly Fuckers/Atom Dive/The Damnsels/Vomit Sawdust Misfits drummer Joey Poole (aka Joey Image) only played and toured with the band for a year (it’s tough getting along with Danzig and Jerry Only!), but his work on Horror Business and Night of the Living Dead is appreciated by fans. So much so that local ones are organizing a benefit show that’ll help Image deal with the costs associated with treatment for liver cancer. Music at this straight-ahead punk-rock show kicks off at 5 p.m. and goes until about midnight — it’s $10 at the door. (Brass Mug, Tampa) INFO

RIVERWALK ROCK
Straz Center’s Rock The Riverwalk: Look at — and listen to — 30 years of Tampa music history

Eric Darius Under the tutelage of Sonny LaRosa — a big band and jazz trumpeter who was the founder and director of America’s Youngest Jazz Band — a young Eric Darius fell in love with the saxophone. The Blake High School grad released his first album at the age of 17, and in 2008 his Blue Note Records debut (Goin’ All Out) debuted in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Contemporary Jazz chart. On Sunday, the 35-year-old University of South Florida alum plays an intimate show inside of Callaloo at the Historic Manhattan Casino, all in support of a new single, “Dare 2 Dream,” which has been climbing Nielsen charts since its release in the spring. In the past we’ve had difficulty navigating Callaloo’s calendar and the venue itself, so an advance call to (727) 256-1806 probably wouldn’t hurt if you’re thinking about going to the show. Deva Lily w/Bacon Grease/JASON/t0asty_ry3/Vallam/Elsie Shiri/more At least five local noise acts are inviting their friends to a Tampa house show where all proceeds will go towards putting fuel in Deva Lily’s gas tank. The experimental composer is here all the way from West Virginia and will play songs from her April 2018 release, bbbreezy, which playfully combines hip-hop, house and noise to create genre-crossing progressive beats for dancing and contemplating. It’s a $5 suggested donation, and respect the neighborhood, will ya? (The In-Between House, Tampa) INFO
