A lot has changed since Andy Biersack and Black Veil Brides last played in Tampa, when Vans Warped Tour was still a thing.

Longtime bassist Ashley Purdy is no longer in the fold, and during COVID-19 lockdowns, the band dreamt up its third rock opera, “The Phantom Tomorrow.”

You won’t hear the whole thing cover to cover at this gig, but what middle school emo kid doesn’t want an excuse to crack out the extra eyeliner?
