U.K. glam-rockstars The Struts are restarting their postponed U.S. tour with an Aug. 31 show at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg.
The guys behind “Body Talks” announced the “Strange Days Are Over” tour a few weeks back, and that stop at St. Pete’s Jannus Live is the first show of the band’s U.S. tour.
Tickets to see The Struts at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg, Florida on Aug. 31, 2021 are on sale now for $25; tickets from the postponed June 21, 2020 show at Jannus will be honored.

The last time The Struts, err, strutted into Tampa Bay was in 2018 for a small private gig and Q&A at Jim Chambers Music Box followed by a sweaty show at the Orpheum, and if this next show in Tampa Bay even holds a candle to their Orpheum appearance, nobody will leave the show unhappy.
The Struts haven’t even been together for a full decade yet, but are doing pretty well for themselves. The British bad boys have much to promote, too, thanks to the 2020 release of their third album, the guest-star overrun Strange Days. This time around though, the guys won’t be opening for the likes of The Rolling Stones or The Who (both groups that they’ve opened for in the past.)
